Why Our Hay Is Different
Our hay grows on land that is fed by year-round running creeks and sub-irrigated meadows, the forage quality speaks for itself. We wrap our bales with John Deere CoverEdge meant for storing outdoors.

Leased Farmland
Located in the heart of Washington wheat country, our farmland offers some of the most productive soil in the Pacific Northwest. We lease acreage primarily for wheat production, working with experienced local farmers who share our commitment to responsible land management.
- Prime wheat, canola and barley country location near Edwall, WA
- Rich volcanic soil of the Palouse region
- 40 miles southwest of Spokane with excellent access

Rented Pastureland
Our pastureland has been used for grazing and hay production by the DeSpain family for over 130 years—and it shows. Pesticide-free, with year-round running creeks and sub-irrigated meadows, we use a continuous grazing system where cattle are rotated in and out of paddocks ensuring we are stewards of the land first. Cattle grazing after hay has been harvested allows natural fertilizer to be put back into the ground for the next growing season, resulting in the most natural grazing conditions and healthy high weight gain available anywhere in the US.
- Continuous grazing rotation system with natural fertilization
- Year-round running creeks and spring fed troughs on all pastures
- Sub-irrigated for consistent, lush grazing deep into the fall

Hunting
Our land offers some of the finest upland and waterfowl hunting in Eastern Washington. With diverse habitat across creek bottoms, year-round ponds, flooded meadows, and grain fields. Hunters can pursue duck, goose, pheasant, Hungarian partridge, and quail in a setting that has been naturally managed. Hunting access is available with prior owner permission dependent on available schedule and payment.
